Three Great Summer ‘All in One’ Washes

I have been testing out ‘all in one’ hair and body cleansers and these are the three I shall be taking away with me to Greece. (Did I mention I was going to Greece? No? Oh! I’M GOING TO GREECE!)

For me, a good ‘all in one’ needs to be a great shampoo yet also feel moisturising on the skin. It’s actually quite hard (probably) to get that  balance right, because too much moisture and hair will feel greasy, too much ‘squeaky cleanness’ and it’s not pleasurable to use. Ones I like:

1) Davines Su Replenishing Hair and Body After Sun Wash: perfect for after the beach when you’re in a rush and just want to get back outside, cocktail in hand. Smells lovely, feels lovely and is moisturising without being greasy. There’s also something slightly cooling and refreshing in the formula (menthol perhaps?) that adds an extra little zing. £12.50 from SalonSkincare: http://tinyurl.com/3d4z6o5

2) Aveda’s Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser: smells VERY fruity-fruity and gives a good clean. Slightly thicker and creamier in consistency than the Davines, this one helps to remove excess product build-up, chlorine and salt. Quite vital if you’re a blondie! RRP is £14 but good old LookFantastic have it here for £11.90 delivered: http://tidd.ly/922faab9

3) Weleda Baby Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash: smells gorgeous, feels gorgeous and just is gorgeous. As a shampoo it’s very gentle (you probably wouldn’t use it to remove masses of product build-up) but the formula is amazing on stressed-out skin. As an after-beach wash it’s just perfect because it has been formulated for very delicate skin – just what you need after a day of being wind-blasted and wave-bashed! £6.95 with free delivery from FeelUnique: http://tidd.ly/7dc41d0e
