The Skin Test

by | Jul 26, 2012

Last week I undertook Mama Mio’s “Skin Fit” Test which asks a series of questions about your skin, your body, your likes and dislikes. As you probably know by now, I love filling in forms and answering questions, so I was in my element! I was also forced to take stock of my overall skin condition (actually rather good, I have to say, apart from the little scaly patches I always get on my shins) and take a long hard look at my cellulite situation. I’m going to be very honest here and tell you that my skin-brushing routine has lapsed lately and BOY do my thighs reflect that! This is going to be a case of do what I say, not what I do, but if there’s one thing that will truly, truly make a massive difference to your skin tone on thighs and bum then it’s skin brushing. See my post and video on it here.

After filling in my test form, I waited 24 hours and then received a personalised report which was quite lengthy and detailed. I had to concentrate on the skin around my tummy and thighs (correct) and keep the rest of my skin in tip-top condition (makes sense). So now, mere days before my holidays start, I am frantically applying Skin Tight Toning Serum, Shrink To Fit Hip & Thigh Cream and O-Mega Body Buff. I wrote those in the wrong order, because obviously I use the Body-Buff scrub first, but anyway. So far so good. I love the Toning Serum (more details here) – it’s just a very lightweight fluid that tones and tightens the skin as it intensely moisturises. The jury’s still out on the Shrink to Fit, (more info here), but so far it gets top marks for texture and ease-of-use.

**Incidentally, the three products that were suggested to me are also available as a set, the Bootcamp Butts. It’s a saving of £26 and you get a 4-minute workout plan to do daily. It gets great reviews – I’ll keep you updated! FeelUnique.com**
