l'occitane fragrance beautifying cream

1) Interesting. A fragrance beautifying cream. l’Occitane designed this cream to be used in conjunction with their Collection de Grasse fragrance range (my favourite one is the heady, summery Néroli & Orchidée, see Friday’s post) to intensify the notes and and help them last for longer. Probably not a beauty priority, if we’re honest, but I like the idea! It does actually seem to increase the longevity of the perfume (I tried it on one arm, not the other, you get the picture) but I think that the Collection de Grasse has OK lasting power anyway. If I was buying a l’Occitane body product then for me it would be the Almond Milk Concentrate. Every single time. It’s one of my favourite ever body products! Firming, smoothing, smells amazing, looks like something you’d pick up in a little village shop in France…

You can find the beautifying cream here, it’s £26. The Néroli perfume is a cracker if you like orange blossom – that’s here.

pai sisters share

2) Last chance to snap up a Pai skincare set for your sister (Mum, friend, you) in their Sisters Share gift-with-purchase promotion. You can find the full details here, or use the code SISTERSSHARE (two S’s there in the middle!) to claim your Essentials Collection on the website. It’s worth £20 – when you add the code, the £20 value will be deducted. You need to spend £40 or more (€50/$70) and if you’re stuck for ideas, my favourite things are the Echium Eye Cream, the BioRegenerate Oil and the gorgeous, creamy cleanser. Pai Skincare

I might rename Mr Bear "The Colonel".

3) Pets. A fat-faced cat – he should have been called “The Colonel”, not Mr Bear! – and a snuggle-faced dog. I was bored in the car (I wasn’t driving) and so I did some Dog Selfies. I think it’s probably a new low for me and for my Instagram account. I must find the password for @DexterandtheBear and start putting the pet pictures in the right place! You can follow me on Insragram here.
