I’m sorry that these Sunday Tittle Tattles are a little “thin” – I’d love to regale you with tales of wild parties and trips to far-flung places, but I’d be lying. I’m currently a slave to the Microsoft Word document, unfortunately, plod-plodding away on my keyboard, writing about historical fiction and something else that as of yet makes absolutely no sense. (Sidenote: it’s incredible how many tiny, unimportant jobs you can find to get done when you should be doing something else. I’ve sorted out odds-and-ends drawers, had a little browse through my boxes of old photos, cleaned up my computer hard-drive…)
So anyway, I hope you’re all enjoying the heat (stop moaning! We always complain about rubbish summers and now finally we have a good one!) and making the most of your gardens and terraces and local parks. Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to use a laptop outdoors in this bright light, so I’m shut away in my office, bitter and whiny like a blonde, long-haired gollum.
I’ll leave you with that image.. and one of Mr Bear cuddling some melons.
