Sunday Tittle Tattle

pocket of my jeans

1) From Tuesday next week (28th May) jeans designer Donna Ida is starting the Denim Drive. You can take in an old pair of jeans and you’ll get a £20 voucher towards a new pair! (My pick would be Paige Verdugo – I now have three pairs and they last forever. They are really comfy but look great!) Your old pair of jeans will get recycled for charity – it’s part of a scheme with Jeans for Genes and Newlife Foundation. To see your nearest store, click here.

gift with purchase lancome

2) The current gift-with-purchase from Lancome is a very pretty one; a pink and black polka-dot toiletries bag by Jenny Packham. It’s free when you buy two products, one of which must be skincare. (Tip: some of my Lancome faves are La Vie Est Belle fragrance, the dinky little nail polishes and the new Visionnaire foundation. I’ll review that separately soon!) There’s a selection of little goodies inside – NOT the things pictured above, they’re just a couple of my favourite Lancome things! – and you can get your gift at your nearest counter, subject to availability. If you want to shop online then FeelUnique.com have a selection of bestsellers worth £37 if you spend over £50. No bag, unfortunately.

makeup review

3) One for the lovers of Benefit’s makeup kits: a special edition with designer Matthew Williamson, The Rich is back! Four glamourous shadows, a mini mascara and lip gloss and a pressed powder cheek colour with tiny brush.

As always, you get easy-to-follow instructions on how to get the look and the shades are all ones that I’d make use of – the box is a bit of a collector’s dream, too, with its peacock feather prints and retro, kitsch patterns. This one’s out in mid-June and it’ll be exclusive to Debenhams and Benefit boutiques, costing £26.50. I think it’ll be a bit of a festival favourite!

crime scene cats

4) Thank you so much to everyone who uploaded their Crime Scene Cats – they did make me laugh! The one above is a particular favourite! (See it online here, it was uploaded by Amelia Tan.) If you want to upload yours, have a look at my Crime Scene Cats post.
