A couple of months ago, I took a look at bronzers that were lovely and pale, and suitable to use on ‘winter’ skin. I called them Springtime bronzers, but really, they’re simply bronzers that give a subtle wash of colour rather than a deep tanned effect.
Soap and Glory’s ‘Solar Powder’ is the latest ‘subtle’ bronzer that I’ve tested out, and I think that it would be perfect for pale skin. It’s not at all orange; the bronze is very matte, and the ‘gold’ powder isn’t too shimmery – it’s a pretty, sophisticated bronzing effect.
I’ve put the results on video for you to see – I wore a light coloured foundation in an attempt to show you the effect of the bronzer on paler skin. ‘Solar Powder’ doesn’t show up quite as well on darker skin tones, but for those of you who really struggle to find flattering ‘sun-kissed’ powders, this could be a bit of a winner!
Oh, by the way: there’s a compartment in the bottom with a brush in it – I only found it by chance when I tried to open the compact upside down!
