I found this post in my drafts folder in February 2021 but have decided to publish it retrospectively with its intended October 2020 date because I’m trying to keep the blog in order! I haven’t changed any copy so the cottage reno information probably doesn’t make much sense – it’s a seaside project I’m working on and I will be doing some videos on it soon.

Goodness: before autumn becomes winter, here’s my latest skincare routine video. I filmed it weeks ago but I’m afraid I’ve been rather absent from the computer keyboard lately. I’ve had a lot going on. I feel as though I use that excuse frequently, but it’s true: for the past five or six years I’ve either been tired, pregnant or renovating houses!

I’m definitely not pregnant. But I am tired. And renovating a house. Albeit a little cottage and not one I’ll ever be living in, so it’s not that bad. I haven’t actually got cracking yet, it’s still the planning stage, but even looking at floorplan dimensions drains me of all essential life energy. And I think if Mr AMR and I ever have to choose a paint colour together ever again the marriage will be over! (Utility room is now pink after going through grey (was actually fine), bright green (gross) and bright white (to cancel out the green) and Mr AMR did all the painting. We’re only just on speaking terms two months later. Ha!)

I usually do a lengthy blurb with these videos, but not this time: it’s a “watch it or miss it” sort of deal. Sorry. Normal service will resume, etc…
