One for those of you who prefer hair products without silicone (I know there are a few of you out there!), an alternative to the usual serum. It’s actually quite different to what I usually consider a hair serum to be (something to smooth onto dry hair as a finishing, smoothing shine), because you massage it in to the ends of your hair whilst it’s still a little damp and then style as usual. Once I had actually worked this out (fourth time of use, if you really must know!) I loved it. It doesn’t have that instant silkening feeling that you get when you use a product with added silicones (I won’t go into that debate right now) but over a couple of uses, I really felt the difference. You can’t ever really repair split-ends in the literal sense of the word, but you can help to smooth them over and make them look tidy. This is a nice, light treatment to use when you really need a trim but can’t be bothered to go for one. (Did I really just say that? Bad model!) It’s also rather fab to take on holiday because the bottle’s small and light and it can replace a few different products – leave the styling cream, leave-in conditioner and finishing serum at home and just use this!
