Just a quick little post today! I thought that some of you might find this useful…

I have upgraded my iPhone and I am sending my old one (iPhone 4, 32GB) to O2 for ‘recycling’. I’ll get £226 for it! Not bad for a phone that’s over 18 months old and isn’t in perfect condition… They take all kinds of makes and models, and you don’t have to be with O2 to recycle, I don’t think. If you’d like to try another ‘trade-in’ site for comparison, have a look at Mazuma – I traded my ex-ex-iPhone in there and got over £100 (it was a 3G) and they paid me within two days!

So. All of those old phones you have lying around? See what you can get for them! The Mazuma link is above, and for O2 you need to go here: http://www.o2.co.uk/recycle/ Both companies tell you how much they’ll give you for your phone and then you just post it to them! So easy.

PS: whilst on the subject of iPhones, can I recommend NOT upgrading your software to iOS5 if you have the older phone – it absolutely buggers everything up! Partly the reason I upgraded, but I was out of contract anyway!
