Earlier in the month I quickly hopped over to Paris to visit the Espace Weleda, a quiet little haven in the centre of the city, offering fragrant yet uncomplicated face and body treatments. My main purpose for the visit was actually to take the time to get to know the various product lines – Weleda is a brand that I use quite regularly, but have never properly explored.
Existing favourites: the Almond Soothing Cleansing Lotion (reviewed here and available here) and the amazing bath milks, including the Lavender one which I think is brilliant value for money.
New discoveries that I shall most definitely be using more often: the Wild Rose Body Oil and the Wild Rose Smoothing Masque. (Can you tell which product line I chose for my treatments?) I had a full body massage and then a relaxing facial – there wasn’t any squeezing, prodding or complicated butterfly hand movements, but I did almost drift off so it was a winner for me!
The Weleda espace itself is lovely – step directly off the busy Parisian street and you’re straight into a peaceful lobby with a lush green living wall and gurgling water feature. After treatments, a soothing cup of Jasmine tea. Nothing fussy about this place, nothing OTT, but you leave feeling revitalised and just a little bit more jolly about things!
