I met some absolute characters at Nutri Beauty’s open day. It’s often a real eye-opener to meet the ‘people behind the brands’ – they come from all walks of life and usually have extremely interesting stories to tell! It’s always a treat to be able to sit with the creator of a beauty range and hear the thought process behind it – often the ‘faces behind the brands’ have given up a considerable number of years to develop their products and are dedicated to sourcing the very best ingredients. Nutri Beauty is a new online beauty store that specialises in the natural and holistic. They have some amazing brands that you’ll already know well (think Dr Hauschka, Weleda, Trilogy) and some that you will know well once I’ve put some products through the mill! I’m very excited to be testing out a face mask made out of Bee Venom, a sponge made of potato and an ointment consisting of pure crushed papaya! Other things that I think will become firm favourites in my beauty arsenal; a flower remedy spray from Spirit Beauty that helps to negate the effects of sitting at the computer all day, a beautiful pure Rose and Argan Serum from Moroccan Naturals and just about everything from organic beauty brand Suti. Things that really caught my attention when I was browsing my way around the various product ranges; a waistband from Japan that claims to ease period pains, sachets of special powdered clay that can be self-mixed into cleansing masks and a whole range of potions and balms (from Suti) that are blessed under the full moon before being shipped out to the customer.
Granted, everyone has a different level of interest when it comes to natural, holistic beauty products, but I do think that Nutri Beauty is going to be a real treasure trove for some!
There will be loads of individual reviews coming up, but in the meantime, you can have a little browse about here: http://tidd.ly/76af6843
