New: Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer

Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer review

Benefit have launched a new version of their hugely popular Hoola bronzer: Hoola Lite. This is the first time that they’ve properly strayed away from their bestselling bronzer shade, offering up a slightly lighter alternative for those with fairer skin. Or, I suppose, those who want more of a gentle sunkissed effect rather than an obvious tan.

Both bronzers are nice and matte – perfect if you prefer your cheek colour without a carnival level of glitter and glitz. Both Hoolas blend well, though I was slightly haphazard in the video below, mainly because New Baby Ted started screaming the house down!

So, original Hoola on the left side of my face (as you look at me in the picture above) and Hoola Lite on the right hand side. Hoola Lite is a very creamy sort of bronze – it’s on the cooler side, so would work reasonably well as a contour powder too, for those who want to dabble in that. In a nutshell, it’s just a very foolproof and flattering powder that’s difficult to overdo and stays in place all day. It’s quite similar to the Bourjois Mat Illusion that I reviewed here, but ever so slightly lighter and cooler in tone.

Take a look at the video below to see both shades in action – links are further down the page. You can find more makeup tests and reviews by clicking here.
