Murad Vitamin C Infusion Home Facial

by | Sep 17, 2010

I am SO glad that I stumbled across this home facial kit from Murad! It’s a vitamin C skin treatment that really has instant results. I don’t want to spoil the video for you, so just for now, let’s compare two different scenarios – the aim in both is that you have brighter, tighter, fresher looking skin.

1) You go to a spa for a Vitamin C treatment. It’s £65 for 40 minutes. The first ten minutes are spent removing clothing and getting comfy under a heap of towels on the treatment table. Then another five for a chat, a bit of a cleanse and a spritz of something that smells ‘divine’. Cotton wool pads over the eyes, the sound of pan-pipes, then the sound of the therapist mixing the formula for your treatment. She applies it, leaves it on for ten minutes and disappears so that you can relax. Ten minutes later, she rinses it off, puts on a serum, massages that in for a few minutes, and then you spend a while chatting again and putting your shoes back on. Skin looks great, very glowing.

2) You’re at home, nice and warm. You mix two sachets together in a plastic tray (very potent, just like the spa) and paint the mixture on with a brush. Leave it for ten minutes, rinse off. Apply serum. Total cost: approx £13.50. Results: IDENTICAL!

Yes, it does feel rather frightening to pay £13.50 for two little sachets of product and a squirt of serum (you actually have to buy a course of 4 treatments, £54.50); but when you consider that at the Spa you pay nearly five times more for exactly the same thing…well it’s a no-brainer really, isn’t it? Yes, it’s nice to be pampered, but if all you want is a clear result, then the Murad home facial could be your new best beauty friend! Skin is left extremely soft and bright, and the effects last for a good few days.

Take a look at the video to see the full goings-on – at one point I give rather a serious speech on how the treatment works, not realising that I have a white moustache. Enjoy.

Murad Home Facial, £54.50 for 4 treatments.
