I’m afraid I have been feeling a little overwhelmed, recently, with regards to work – I constantly feel as though I’m chasing my tail, and the idea of a “work-life balance” is almost laughable. So apologies for being rather absent here on The Uphill; I have so many things I need to catch up on and there are dozens of posts in my drafts folder waiting to amuse/delight/bore you.

I’ll keep this intro short and sweet – here are the Mum, Toddler and Baby Favourites for June. I filmed the video at the St Martin’s Lane Hotel in London, hence the slightly odd lighting – the rooms there are bright white and quite stark (literally, designed by Starck) but with crazy lighting systems that change colour and what-not. You know when you just want to get into bed at a hotel and turn the bloody lights off? Not happening here. I cycled through at least four different “moods” before I reached the “total darkness” option. Anyway: cup of tea and hit play.
