Apologies for the massive headband in this video – it was all I could find. My fringe does my head in if I leave it down when I do my makeup, so I suffocate it underneath tight swaddling until it’s safe to let it out.
I first saw this makeup collection a couple of months ago at the launch and was instantly struck by how pretty the packaging was. No7 aren’t particularly lauded for their interesting/attractive packaging and so I was pleased to see that a change had been made! The lovely Lisa Eldridge is the creative director behind No7 and I think that her input into the brand is definitely showing through – although this collection isn’t entirely my cup of tea, it has a clear ‘theme’ that makes it fun and covetable.
I say that this range isn’t entirely my cup of tea but actually, as I was editing the video, I was quite taken aback by just how well the shades all work together. The Brigette lipstick is definitely not an ‘easy wear’ but when you see it with the striking pinky-coral nails it’s so pretty! I wish that I had gone the whole hog and popped some pastel blue onto my lids, but I had to film something else afterwards with little time, and I couldn’t fit in a ‘cleanup’ session!
