Model Tip: Brow Grooming (using Estee Lauder Brow Setting Gel)

by | Jul 15, 2010

Eyebrow grooming. Another one of those tips that seems so blindingly obvious when you sit down and think about it; eyebrows are such an important part of our faces! I often cringe when I see people with massacred brows – I have known people to actually shave their eyebrows off, and re-draw them with a pencil! Madness. In my opinion, anyway. It’s like shaving your hair off and then drawing curls on with a marker pen.

Anyway… tip from ‘behind the scenes’ – for an instantly groomed look, work on accentuating those brows. Or, if you’re like me, (lazy), then just neatly comb them into place and fix them so that they can’t possibly move. I like the brow setting gel by Estee Lauder – it’s clear, so you can’t mess it up, it doesn’t dry into a weird, flaky substance, and it lasts all day. There are cheaper brow gels, but you risk getting flakes of  ‘face dandruff’ falling from above your eyes – and that’s not terribly sexy.

Brow Setting Gel, £11.50 from Estee Lauder.
