This is one post where you really have to watch the video to fully appreciate the transformation. I give myself five minutes (a little longer due to the practicalities of filming) to change myself from a hungover wreck to something presentable enough to attend a casting.
I’ll be absolutely honest here: this is not me at my most hungover. I couldn’t possibly, ever, show that on camera. The reasons for this should be obvious, but just in case they’re not: I’m a model, and models are supposed to look good at all times just in case the editor of Vogue/casting director for Prada/George Clooney passes by. Pasting myself all over the internet with bloodshot eyes and bits of kebab meat stuck in my hair wouldn’t do me any favours.
So here we are! Me, with a hangover (mild) and you with a computer. Watch me fix myself up! I’m quite the expert at repairing hangovers, although not usually before a casting – these days I try to have a little discipline on a school night! But I was actually on a tight schedule for this video, as I had to be at a casting soon after, so this really is me genuinely getting ready in a hurry!
The heros of this video are probably the Sisley masks – they really do tighten and brighten in an instant, and although they’re very expensive, if you only use them in emergencies they last for AGES. Years. I’ve credited the products in the video as and when they appear, but here’s a brief summary: Dior Instant Cleansing Water , Sisley Eye Mask, Sisley Flower Gel, Klorane Dry Shampoo, Trevor Sorbie Light Serum, Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser, Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer, Nars Multiple Tint, M&S Perfection Bronzer, Dior Voluptuous Care Lipstick, The Balm Luminizer.
In case you’re interested, the polish on my nails is Rouge Noir by Chanel, and my lashes are extensions by Flutter.
