I have been in the country this weekend, mucking around in walking boots and my extremely unattractive “outdoors” coat that looks a little bit like I have chopped a sleeping bag in half and made a hole for my head. When doing outdoorsy typed things, I try not to wear any make-up. I like that natural flush that you get from being battered about by the elements, and to me there is something wrong about smothering your skin when it could be benefitting from the lovely fresh air! So it’s a bit of SPF for me, a slick of lip balm (Blistex this weekend) and a rushed coat of mascara. Great Lash is perfect for low-key lashes in my opinion – it’s easy to apply and the effect isn’t over-the-top. Obviously you can build it up for a more dramatic look, but for a ‘no make-up’ look that simply defines my eyes I apply just one coat.
