Leopard Print Hairband

ruth crillyRecently I have been on the hunt for nice hairbands so that I can keep my growing-out-fringe out of my eyes. In all honesty, my fringe isn’t doing my head in that much – it’s growing out pretty well. Now that it’s a little bit longer and I’m not trying to force it to be a ‘proper’ fringe, it’s sweeping off to the side and not looking too bad. I can just about cope with it. I’d go so far to say that I’ll probably keep some form of fringe, but it will most definitely be one that is easy to pin back and hide if I’m in a hurry to get ready!

Back to the hairband. Many hairbands give me a headache after about ten minutes, so I tend to go for the soft elasticated ones that go all the way around your head. I actually think that they might be called ‘headbands’ but I have a phobia of that term. It reminds me of the words ‘bandana’ and also ‘headbanging’, both of which, for some reason, turn my stomach. This hairband is nice and soft, and I like a bit of an animal print, as you well know, so it’s a keeper.

Leopard Print Hairband, £6.50 from Miss Selfridge.
