I have long championed the use of dry shampoo. It’s brilliant stuff. A quick spritz before castings, and my hair goes from lank and sweaty, to full-on swishy model hair!
I have been meaning to try out Klorane’s dry shampoo for years – it’s like the more sophisticated, more quietly spoken older sister of Batiste (the gaudily-packaged, highly-perfumed slut!) Klorane is a gentle dry shampoo with oat milk, and I have seen it in more hair stylists’ kit bags than I can remember – Kenna of Kennaland even rates this as one of his ‘must-have’ styling tools!
So I have been using Klorane to pep up my roots recently, and it is a ‘must-have’! Really gentle on the scalp, very lightly fragranced, it brings back a lightness to the hair that can only usually be achieved when hair has been freshly washed and left to dry naturally. It also creates a little lift at the roots, giving the impression of volume, which is something that my (lazily groomed!) hair usually lacks.
To use Klorane dry shampoo, spray into your roots, lifting your hair so that the roots can be easily accessed. Leave for a couple of minutes, and then brush your hair to remove any excess powder.
You really can’t get a much easier styling trick than using dry shampoo, and I love Klorane’s version for it’s ‘light touch’ – it feels very delicate and gentle to use! It’s perfect for all hair types, including sensitive scalps, and could well be your beauty saviour if you’re going camping this August!
Klorane Dry Shampoo is £5.99 from Boots
