Just when I thought Japonesque could do no better with their affordable, superbly-made cosmetic brushes, they went away and made this range: Safari Chic. Adds a bit if fun to the making-up process, doesn’t it?
You’ll see that I’ve used Japonesque brushes in quite a few of my makeup videos – I find their short-handled brushes to be exceptionally easy to use and I like the densely packed bristles. The Safari Chic versions are no different – short handles make the brushes perfect for travelling with and the brush heads are really chunky and full. Some might say that the eye brushes are rather too chunky, but for my own particular slap-dash method of shadow application, they work rather well indeed!
The 3-piece brush set contains a powder brush and two eye brushes (one is a brush for the crease of the eye, to add shading and contour) and everything is neatly packaged in a special pouch. More animal print. Which pleases me greatly!
The Japonesque Safari Chic brushes, which are possibly too nice to actually use, are available at Boots will be at HQHair.com shortly. For now, check out the touch-up tube that I mentioned a few weeks ago! (You can read that Japonesque review here.)
