I’m so sorry – this video is quite random because I filmed the main part of it weeks ago, but when I went to try and create something last week I couldn’t find my big camera or my tripod or my lights or anything. Turned out that they were in the box that was at the very bottom of a stack of other, heavy boxes. Obviously! They would be! Everything in my house is upside down – I meticulously packed my “emergency things I need right now” bags and boxes but they ended up getting mixed up with all of the other stuff. Which is why I find sieves and nut-crackers when I’m looking for a pair of socks and also why I find twenty-one cans of hairspray (like I ever use hairspray) when I’m trying to find the loo roll or the toothpaste.

Anyway, I’m actually quite glad that the below recording ended up seeing the light of day – it’s a very simple little makeup look but I love some of the products that I picked out. For those who have wondered about NARS Tinted Moisturiser and how it looks once applied, the video is pretty useful. Also a handy one if you’re on the hunt for a good, affordable selection of neutral eyeshadows – I use Avon’s True Colour Palette in “Nudes” and think that it turns out nicely. Let me know what you think! I’m going to spend much of this week trying to unpack boxes in my new beauty room so there should be plenty of new tasty makeup morsels to show you in the next video – I’ve also made some lovely skincare discoveries too, so I’ll have to jot everything down and make sure it gets filmed.
