It’s a little early to be thinking about sunglasses, granted; but I really want these. They’re chic, slightly retro and a tad more glamorous than the usual plain-framed aviators. I only wear sunglasses for about twenty days of the year, because I have a bit of a hang-up about them. I always think that I look as though I’m posing or showing-off, which is ridiculous as everyone wears sunglasses. This year I have made a resolution to wear them a little more though, because I’m always squinting in the sunlight, which we all know spells eye wrinkles.

Dior have pretty much made my perfect pair of shades with the Havane – they’re not too enormous, which is handy because I have a pin-head. They’re also just the right mix of ‘functional’ looking and flash. There are no ridiculous logos or diamanté embellishments and the dark trim makes the gold appear quite understated. There are a few different colour variations for the Havane, all lovely.

I get the distinct feeling that these will have to be mine this summer…
