I can already tell that my Charlotte & Co Mocha cami is going to be a fixture in my autumn-winter wardrobe – it’s so warm! I rarely wear knits without having some kind of ‘layer’ underneath and I find that camis and vests are the best option as I don’t like too much bulk around my arms. This silk and cotton version from Charlotte & Co is functional but pretty with its little lace trim. Charlotte (of Charlotte & Co!) founded luxury lingerie brand Myla and has now moved on to producing brilliant leisure and home wear – there are too many cute things on the website so I am having to strictly monitor the time I spend browsing.

and I think that these cashmere ballet slippers are possibly the most unbeatable ‘practical’ Christmas present you could ask for – perfect for plane journeys and lounging about at home pretending to be an off-duty dancer. (We all do that, don’t we?)
