I love the makeup on Keira Knightley in the latest Coco Mademoiselle TV commercial and – despite the fact that I look nothing like her whatsoever – I decided to do a little makeup video using the ad as my influence. It was actually a good excuse to have a go with some of the newer Chanel launches (the Vitalumiere Aqua being one of them) and dig out some of my older Chanel favourites,

I’m really pleased with the way the final look turned out – I spent much more time on my eyes than I usually would, and I think that the extra effort was worth it! It was also more of an ‘English Rose’ look in terms of skin-tone – I went slightly paler with the foundation and didn’t use any bronzer, which for me is a bit of a departure from the norm!
