Chanel A/W Rose Temptation Joues Contraste

by | Jul 11, 2010

Rose Temptation is a gorgeous powder blush from the Chanel A/W collection, and it was used on me at a job last week.  I think that the shade is quite unusual – an old-fashioned browny-pink – very ladylike, but not one of those light, breezy pinks that you can just whack on and it’ll brighten up your complexion! It needs a little more thought with the application, but the effect is very pretty.

I’ve posted a photo that I took between shots so that you can see how it looks – darker than you’d expect, isn’t it? I like it; I think that ‘prim and proper’ sums it up. And my favourite thing about it? It smells of roses – not just faintly, but really really smells of roses, as though the blush itself has been made from squashed petals! Delightful.
