This is highly topical, what with thousands of utterly barmy people traipsing off to sit in fields covered in mud; some festival and camping recommendations. Recommendation number one would actually be: Hire a Winnebago, but failing that, some beauty advice is the best thing I can do for you. If you are off to Glasto, then I’m only joking about the barmy bit – and the mud. Have an amazing time – don’t do anything I wouldn’t do! (Tumbleweed…)
It felt as though I hadn’t made a video in an age (it had, in fact, been just nine days) and so I hauled myself outside to record my ‘festivals and camping’ masterpiece. In the rain, which was appropriate. I almost electrocuted myself on the electricity cables, so it was all very exciting and fun!
Some great new things in this video – apart from the very lovely Cowshed Festival kit (with gorgeous cotton knickers!) there’s a handy palette from Aveda that holds all of your face and eye powders and there’s an eyeliner that just will not shift, courtesy of the newly re-launched brand Stila. Lots and lots of other handy bits and pieces, so take a look – if you can’t bear to hear me witter on then you can just jump straight to the Shopping List below the video and see what went on…
Enjoy!
(Before I forget; Birmingham people, you have a vintage fair going on this weekend at Pavilions in town. It’s supposed to be great! I’d like to go myself but can’t make it up there, so let me know if you get any great pieces!)
