Bedtime Beauty Treats…

My little beauty treats when I stayed at the Ibiza Gran Hotel last week. (I brought these with me, they weren’t in the room! Now that would be amazing!) Three little tiny products that made quite a difference to my quality of beauty sleep.

1) Vaishaly Anti-Ageing Night Cream: one of the few night creams labelled “anti-ageing” that isn’t too heavy for my combination skin. This actually absorbs very quickly (though there’s time for a quick massage) and doesn’t have any greasy residue whatsoever. I like it a lot – for some reason I have five of these little pump-action vials, so I’m stocked up for the next few travelling sessions. My skin looked pretty nice and plump the next day with none of the little reddish spots that I get from overloading on oils through the night… Find it here: Vaishaly

2) Deep Sleep Pillow Spray: this stuff is great! I’ve told you all about it before, I’m sure, but I repeat: spray pillow three or four times, sleep like log. It’s £13.60 for the full size at the moment with free delivery at FeelUnique.com

3) Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye: feels very much like the oil, in terms of scent and slip, yet it’s not an oil, it’s a cream. A new one for me, this eye cream, and my first reaction (four uses) is that I think that it’s lovely. Kiehl’s have been careful to capture all of the best parts of the Midnight Oil and put them into a formula that won’t irritate the eye area. I have to admit that at first I was a little worried about the “essential oil” element, taking it right up into the eye area, but I had no adverse reaction at all. Best to test-run in though, if you pass a counter! This left my undereyes really quite smooth after a night on the Ibizan tiles – I’ll update you again after more extensive testing! It’s £24.50 at counters and JohnLewis.com
