Becca Cosmetics

I have long wanted to do a video overview on Becca cosmetics; so many of their products should be makeup bag staples. The Becca “look” is natural, radiant and flawless which is exactly the look that I aim for the majority of the time. I think that it’s the look that most women aim for the majority of the time.

Getting a radiant-looking complexion obviously involves a great skincare routine and a generally healthy lifestyle (sorry to break that to you!) but I also think that with clever, quality makeup you can ‘cheat’ your way to a natural glow. If you spend time prepping your skin and creating a perfect base, then it really shows. The video below concentrates on achieving a gorgeous, glowy and sheeny base using just a very few products. I create two different eye looks too, but the emphasis here is on the skin. I use a tinted moisturiser because a)  I didn’t need a heavy coverage on the day of filming and b) the whole ‘natural radiant’ look relies on keeping makeup fresh and dewy.

Although Becca do make colourful cosmetics, most shades are neutral and muted and extremely flattering. If you’re looking for easy-to-wear tones that enhance and emphasise rather than ‘mask’ your features, then I thoroughly recommend taking a trip to the Becca store on Pelham Street in London. Or having a browse online at Becca.com. Everything is really of the most superb quality and I definitely think that you’ll be seeing individual recommendations of these products appearing on A Model Recommends in the near future!

Enjoy the video – the Shopping List is below as usual. My absolute must-haves from the shopping list are: the shimmering skin perfector in ‘pearl’ and the lip and cheek tint in ‘blossom’ Love.
