After I found eyeliner-love with the Supershock Gel liner from Avon a few weeks ago, I decided to give a few other products a go and make a little video to show the results. Clear favourites from this video are: Supershock liner (obviously – I must have mentioned this liner about fifty times since I first used it!) and the powder blush in Earthen Rose. Personally, I wouldn’t class this as a blush – but then I’m not sure what I would class it as! It’s the most perfect colour for contouring the face without adding any obvious bronze or blush – for me, at least, it’s just a couple of shades darker than my actual skintone, so it creates shadow to sculpt my face rather than adding colour. It’s also matte, so it doesn’t reflect light – it’s the most perfect face-shaper!

Other products tried and tested in the video are: Magic Face Perfector, a nice primer that works well at holding your base in place; Fresh and Light Foundation in Ivory; the True Colour Lace Hues Palette; the Luxe Lace lipstick in ‘Pout’ and the Luxe Lace Supershock mascara. All of the products are available from the Avon shop online. I’ve had a good look over the last few weeks and there always seem to be brilliant deals going on – last week the Supershock liner was four pounds!
