For the last few weeks I have been testing out Avon’s Eye Lift ‘System’, a cream and a gel that promise to lift the eye area.  I kind of wish that it wasn’t in a dippy pot (or that anything came in a pot for that matter) but I do like having the gel and cream formulas side-by-side. I do my undereyes first with the cream, which is nice and rich, and then I do my eyelids (yes, lids!) and all the way up to my browbone with the gel. Some people won’t like the very slight stickiness from the gel, but I don’t mind it as it disappears reasonably quickly and doesn’t interfere with makeup application and so on. It’s the cream that I like best though – it absorbs easily and feels like it’s actually doing something! I find that my concealer goes on very nicely afterwards.

Has anyone else tried this? It’s not the smartest of eye creams in terms of packaging and presentation, but I do like the fresh feeling that it gives to my eye area. It’s not heavily scented, which is also probably a bonus for many. What say ye?
