Clinique’s All About Lips is one of those products that I use so often, and love so much, I take for granted. This is really my lip treatment of choice, and has been for quite some time. It’s a cream, not a balm, it absorbs immediately rather than leaving a residue, and it has loads of very useful functions.
Firstly, the treatment acts as a mild exfoliant so that after a few days of use, you find that flakiness stops and your lips are beautifully soft and smooth. Secondly, it makes a great lip ‘primer’ that helps to prepare lips before colour is applied. It stops the colour from ‘bleeding’ quite so much if it’s a dark colour, and it provides a nice even surface for lipstick or gloss to cling to.
My mum has used All About Lips for years, and she is confident that it has prevented fine lines from forming and that it acts as an anti-aging treatment for the lips without being too heavy and clogging.
So, a winner all round. I like to apply this before bed because it sinks in quickly, isn’t greasy or sticky, and is unfragranced. It lasts for absolutely ages, too, so I think that it’s very good value.
