You’ll remember my recent review on the Overnight Radiance Moisturiser recently – a perfectly decent night cream with (I think) doubtful exfoliating properties. I mean, the ingredients are there, but I’m not sure that it will perform any great shakes overnight. However it did, over a period of time, keep my skin looking quite bright and ‘awake’ so I moved on to testing the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer which is a silky oil-free serum with (again) exfoliants to brighten and renew the skin overnight. I find this serum version to be far more effective than the moisturiser and it will probably last a little longer, too. If you have oily or combination skin you might not even feel the need to follow with a moisturiser (I don’t follow my highly potent Liquid Gold with a moisturiser, so I’m guessing that the Clinique will definitely be fine!) and if you have drier skin, or prefer the feel of a moisturiser, you can follow with the Clinique one mentioned above.
This is a pretty new release for Clinique, and I’m guessing that it’s replacing the highly popular ‘Visible Skin Renewer’ so I’ll be interested to know if long-time fans of the range think that it lives up to its predecessor!
Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer is £32 from House of Fraser of counters nationwide.
