I have recently rediscovered Rimmel’s natural bronzer in shade 021, “sunlight”. I first bought this on my Honeymoon when I had forgotten to pack a bronzer (duh) and I didn’t want to fork out for an expensive one when I had about ten thousand of them at home. The “sunlight” shade is really nice and pale, which by now you all know is kind of what I go in for unless I have a good tan going on. I like to be able to bash it on all over my face without caring too much about precision or blending and so the paler the shade, the better. Within reason, obviously.
(Note: the shade pictured isn’t “Sunlight” – I’ll be doing a video with it in soon though so you’ll be able to see exactly how it looks.)
There’s nothing particularly luxurious about using the Rimmel bronzer – no compact, no mirror, no nice scent – but at £5.59 it’s an absolute steal. It lasts for a good while and the colour’s a natural, sunkissed bronze. If you’re after a no-frills bronzer, you probably couldn’t ask for more! For those of you after a virtual shade comparison then I can tell you that it’s just very slightly darker than Avon’s Earthen Rose blush.
Rimmel Natural Bronzer in ‘Sunkissed’ is £5.59 from Boots here: http://tinyurl.com/68dwukh
