Floris are fast becoming my emergency present-buying place. There’s something very charming about the brand, very…historical. After my bespoke perfume experience (see HERE) I immediately booked my mum in for the same thing as a present for her 60th and she absolutely adored it! Not only are the perfumes gorgeous, their scented candles are beautifully presented and boxed and fill the room with perfume even when the candle isn’t lit! ‘Garden Party’ is about as fresh and summery as candles get and it would be perfect for those late outside suppers that go on into the night. It’s zesty and cool and florally all at once! The perfect gift for a garden-lover when you have tired of buying them novelty rockery ornaments and wellington boot-scrapers.

I have had a little idea and I want to run it past you all: what would you say to a permanent gift-guide section. Something that you could refer to for ideas if you’re in a hurry and need to order something online that will be delivered on time and come beautifully wrapped? There would be gifts for all price ranges but everything would be luxurious and special. I only mention this now because Floris is one of the brands I think I would be championing for last-minute gifts! Let me know what you think…
