Equipment Silk Shirts

Equipment-SignitureShirtRolledSleeves-ArmyPrint-fr-LI have totally and utterly fallen in love with this camo-print shirt from Equipment. Expensive, (£255) but worth every penny – this has got to be one of the most amazing things I have set eyes on in recent months. I’m not big on prints, but there are a few very distinct advantages when it comes to camo:

1) Stains don’t show up so obviously. Which is important when you’re talking about a shirt costing £255.

2) The print incorporates similar tones and shades which makes it infinitely flattering against most skin tones.

3) It looks good printed on silk. It’s kind of ‘tough-chic’ and ‘tongue-in-cheek’ at the same time. Combat-Luxe. (I have just coined that phrase.)

If you’re not convinced then just wait until I wear it with bronzed, glowing skin, coral nails and sexy loose hair! I can’t wait! Photos to follow shortly…

Equipment make the best silk shirts – long enough to tuck into low-rise jeans, but not so long that you have whole swathes of silk to deal with. The silk is the very finest quality and it drapes just perfectly – it’s light and not too silky-silky, if you know what I mean! Not shiny silky, like a nighty, it’s rough silky.

I got my shirt from The Dressing Room (click HERE for a spot of desk-browsing!) who also do a massive range of American Vintage plain tees and tank tops. Which I love. More on those later!

Whilst you’re having a browse, can you please tell me your opinion on this dress:  (The Dressing Room), so that I can make a final decision. I have two weddings to go to this summer and I thought that this would be both fun and forgiving for when I have eaten too much at the buffet!
