I know that it’s not the 6th of April today, so sorry if that causes any confusion. (All over the world there are probably jumbo jets crashing and ATM machines spilling out billions of dollars because of my little date-glitch! Imagine.) I just didn’t have enough space to post this on the right day, so here we go with it now!

I am writing this on the 6th of April though, and it’s an absolute scorcher in London – it seriously feels like August and/or Hell.  In celebration of the early arrival of summer (or possibly Armageddon, in which case nobody’s reading this because we’re all dead) I have slicked on a bit of Estée Lauder magic – lipstick in Wild Coral and matching Lip ‘Gelée’ in Electric Coral. It has made me feel very cheerful and – importantly – in no way self-conscious. (I’m quite a self-conscious person, believe it or not.) I have kept my skin very light and fresh using Lancome’s Teint Miracle in shade 02, and whacked on a whole load of mascara from New CID Cosmetics.

Something a little bit ‘eighties’ is going on with my hair, so I’ve cropped out the worst part – vain or what! A girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do!  I’m off out for the evening now, the sun is still blazing hot and I feel slightly disorientated as though I’ve been in some sort of time-warp! I wonder what the weather will be like when this post goes live? How exciting; this is like one of those time capsules that you bury in the garden, except that it’s not a time capsule or buried in the garden and it’s only a few days old. Oooookaaay.

***PS: Yesterday I published three posts instead of two, and one of them (the sandals one) wasn’t even finished yet! It had mistakes in it! Sorry about that. Shameful behaviour.***
