Will another beauty brand be able to top this bronzer in 2011? I think not. Just look at it! A palest-pale bronzer made to look like sea-rippled sand, and a coral sea star with subtle shimmer. I was excited about testing this out for the first time, and it didn’t disappoint. I’m always on the look-out for ‘all year round’ bronzers – one’s that are flattering on pallid, winter-worn skin. This instantly lifts skin with a beautiful glow – it’s not overpoweringly shimmery, but it definitely does the job on the radiance front!

I find that my brush automatically picks up more of the coral blush than it does the pale, sandy bronzer, but that’s not too much of a problem. In fact, it works out rather well – I’ll be more ‘blush’ in springtime, and by the summer, I’ll be Bronze Goddess! The coral would be equally flattering against tanned or pale skin; this really is a bit of a gem. It also looks amazing – summer holidays in a compact!

I’ll be putting some of the Bronze Goddess products onto video soon so that you can see exactly how they look in real life, but until then, I think I can safely say that the Sea Star Bronzing Blush is a bit of a safe bet. The only thing that I’d change would be the compact case itself – it’s plastic, and I’d like it to be made of solid gold, with mermaids engraved all over it. But then that would cost about £7,499.
