It’s not so much the colour of this polish that I’m recommending here, but the formula and finish. It goes on so easily – really quickly and smoothly. You only need one coat if you’re not a perfectionist, so it’s great if you just want to get your nails looking groomed and then run out of the door. I just timed the drying time and it’s a smidgen over 60 seconds if you want them touch-dry. After just a few minutes, you can do things like rummage for your keys, do up your jeans and tie up your shoelaces without ruining your polish.
With regards to ‘Grey Matter’, it’s actually quite a sophisticated grey. There’s no shimmer or glitter, just a shade that looks like a stormy sky, with a sleek and glossy finish. There are loads of nice shades in this range, though, 24 in total – I like Ethereal and Coral Crush, just in case you’re interested.
Rimmel’s 60 Seconds Polish is available for £2.99 from Argos.
