Oh bless! This is me (obviously) in one of my very first polaroids taken in the agency. This was taken in early 2001, nearly ten whole years ago! Time has flown by, as it tends to do when you are having fun. Interesting to note that my hair colour here is very nearly natural – as it is now. I have been almost every shade of blonde there is in the ten years since this photo has been taken – strawberry blonde, platinum blonde, scarily white blonde, almost brown blonde. But here we are, having come almost full circle. I feel rather nostalgic.

Other things to note: I am, would you believe, wearing a Nike Fleece in this picture. Now you’d think that I would have dressed up for the occasion – coming to London, meeting my new agency, chance-of-a-lifetime and all that jazz, but no: a Nike Fleece. I’d also take a bet that I was wearing my silver Adidas running shoes and my ‘boot-cut’ River Island jeans. Aargh! It’s making me cringe to even think about it!

I’m off to find my hair shirt and a knotted rope to pay penance for past fashion crimes.
