Modelling Blast from the Past #3

by | Sep 4, 2010

When I was tidying my shelves this week, a CD flew out and hit me in the face – and it was my face on the sleeve! I had headbutted myself! Amazing.

This is proper sexy, innit? See how they’ve made me into a cartoon version of myself? I vaguely remember posters of this being up all over London, and quite literally walking straight past them because I didn’t even recognise myself! Ah, the joys of retouching.

This was actually from the earlier days of digital, (yes I have been around that long) when most people still shot film and you had to wait about for polaroids to develop and fumbling assistants to load up film backs! Oh, I’m having a rather nostalgic moment, actually, I’m welling up. Not.

Looking at this album cover again (I haven’t even listened to it, I might actually do that today!) it’s definitely my mouth that’s different – nose upwards, it’s exactly me. Mouth isn’t mine. It would be a talking, moving mouth for a start!
