STOP PRESS: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate

by | Jul 16, 2010

Oh God, oh God. I can hardly bring myself to write about this; firstly, because I’m so excited that my hands are shaking, and secondly, because I’m not sure I want to tell anybody my newly-found Hangover Skin Remedy!

There are things that you can do before bed to ease a next-day hangover. I always do the following things before I pass out, fully-clothed: drink an Alka Seltzer dissolved in a pint of cold water, drink another pint of water, brush my teeth, and then stub either my left, or right, big-toe on the foot of the bed. I’m adding another thing to the list: massaging two drops of the miraculous elixir that is ‘Midnight Recovery Concentrate’ into my poor, parched face. I did it last night, and the night before, and I have to say that I woke up looking as though I’d had a good seven or eight hours sleep (I’d had three).

I’m still in the early stages of testing this out, here at the AMR laboratories, but I’m feeling very good things towards it. It’s amazingly light and non-oily, yet packed full of essential oils that help to repair and regenerate the skin. I’m positive that the lavender oil made me sleep particularly deeply, and that my skin was much more radiant than usual in the morning! I think that it’s a great treatment to have beside the bed, to apply very last thing in an attempt to redeem yourself for your late night and/or over-indulgences. It’s 99.8% natural, (oooh, what’s in the 0.2%, I’m wondering?!) paraben free, and suitable for dry, normal or oily skin.

Three words: WATCH – THIS – SPACE! See how I get on – I’ll try and work up some terrific hangovers, all in the name of research, and I may well provide some photographic evidence for your amusement!
