Last week Time Out named Kennaland ‘the hippest hair studio in London’ – so obviously I couldn’t wait to get in there and have a nose around! With no glaring signage outside it’s a mecca for the long list of celebrities and models who want exclusivity without the pretension that comes with some of the other premium destinations.

Once inside, Kennaland is a cosy and stylish world of vintage furniture, wooden floors and strange objects – it makes you wish that your appointment would last all day.

I managed to get an appointment, and although it didn’t last all day (I did try!) I emerged feeling relaxed and thoroughly entertained, with my hair looking amazing.
